Mid Bay Rotary - Who We Are
The Rotary Club of Mid Bay Bridge Choctawhatchee Bay was chartered June 29, 1993. Since that time, Mid Bay has established itself in the Niceville, Valparaiso, and Bluewater Bay communities. Its annual Oktoberfest, held at the Marketplace at Bluewater Bay, and its annual charity golf tournament held at the Bluewater Bay Golf Course, are events the community looks forward to each year. We team up with local schools, charities, and businesses to make a bigger difference together. Serving the Niceville - Bluewater Bay community with dedication and passion, we are a Rotary Club committed to making a positive impact through service and fellowship.

Our Club is Recognized for Our Accomplishments
Mid Bay has received the Rotary International President's Citation multiple times, and most recently several District 6940 Governor's Awards. The Mid Bay Rotary Club consistently outperforms donations to ShelterBox by exceeding the requirements for “Hero” status (minimum $5,000.00 per year) every year that program has been in existence by a factor of at least double. We recently reached $255,000.00 which leads all Rotary clubs in district 6940 and is in the top 20% in the United States.
Mid Bay Rotary is a frequent recipient of district and national awards for its many notable achievements serving local, national, and international needs. Examples of just a few are shown below:
Mid Bay Rotary is one of 175 registered Peacebuilder Clubs worldwide. All Peacebuilder Clubs assemble peace committees who meet regularly to discuss how their Rotary club participates in peace projects that build and sustain positive peace both locally and internationally. The club was awarded the Peacebuilder Club Certificate in 2020.
